In commemoration of the Sept. 11 attacks, the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) shares a sampling of resources available to help families and consumers, as well as professionals, including educators, disaster response experts, medical personnel and mental health clinicians, deal with traumatic stress issues that children, adolescents and families may continue to face-even after six years.

Whenever individuals experience a traumatic event, the anniversary of the occurrence typically serves as a strong reminder and often triggers earlier reactions and feelings about the event. To help individuals cope, the NCTSN offers the following helpful resources and we encourage consumers and professionals to seek out other materials and information on our Web site: www.NCTSN.org

In order to view and print some of the materials provided, you will need Acrobat Reader 5.0. If it is not loaded in your computer, you can download it for free by visiting www.adobe.com and clicking on Downloads.
