Robert "Bob" Allan Welch

With heavy hearts, we sadly announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Allan Welch, Director of Operations for the Core Genotyping Facility. The great success of the CGF is directly attributed to Bob's dedication and hard work. He was truly an inspiring and energetic leader and was well known in the genomics research community. Bob's tireless commitment to this organization propelled its evolution to a well-respected facility of known integrity and excellence.

We at the CGF have pledged to continue to work towards Bob's vision for our institution and will in that way, pay our respects to our dear colleague and friend.

Our condolences go out to his family and friends. Bob will be greatly missed by all of us here at the CGF.
