Summer Honors Program
Treasury offers a volunteer summer internship program for law students. Students selected as Summer Honors Interns will work at Treasury headquarters in Washington, DC, in the offices of the Assistant General Counsel for International Affairs, the Assistant General Counsel for Banking and Finance, the Assistant General Counsel for Enforcement and Intelligence, the Assistant General Counsel for General Law and Ethics or in the Office of the Chief Counsel of the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
These internships offer an opportunity to improve research and writing skills, to observe the practice of law in a major cabinet agency, and to learn about substantive areas of the law by dealing with issues faced by Treasury lawyers and their clients. We expect a six week minimum commitment from our Summer Honor Interns.
