Guidance for Applicants (GFA) No. SM 01-004

Grants for the Statewide Family Network program will assist family members around the country to work with policy makers and service providers to improve service access and quality of services for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances and their families. When effective, groups of such individuals serve as catalysts in reforming service systems for this population. The Statewide Family Network Grant Program is designed to strengthen coalitions among family members, and between family members and policy makers and service providers; recognizing that family members are the best and most effect change agents.
