Most restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Savage Cabin Trail is wheelchair accessible. Some tour and shuttle buses are accessible please advise staff of needs when making your advance reservations. The Visitor Center orientation program is open captioned.

Many buses in the park can accommodate wheelchairs, and travel to various destinations. If for any reason the bus system cannot accommodate your needs, please contact the park Visitor Center to arrange alternate methods of travel. Visitor Center (907) 683-9532

The two visitor centers and dog kennel area in Denali are accessible. Denali is largely a trail-less wilderness. The established trails at the entrance of the park are well-maintained gravel paths, but are not paved.

Did You Know?
Did you know that Denali National Park and Preserve is home to both black bears and grizzly (brown) bears? Black bears inhabit the forested areas of the park, while grizzly bears mainly live on the open tundra. Almost all bears seen by visitors along the Park Road are grizzlies.
