The best source to locate transportation providers in West Virginia is the 2006 Transportation Providers Directory (2MB PDF file). This document gives profiles of public transit systems, specialized transportation providers such as county aging programs, sheltered workshops, community mental health centers, etc., and taxi companies that operate in each county. It provides a description of the transportation service, the service area, days and hours of operation and the number of vehicles. It also includes a list of head start providers.
