NIAAA Alcohol Alert

  • Underage Drinking: A Major Public Health Challenge
    This Alcohol Alert describes some of the most harmful consequences of underage drinking as well as prevention and treatment approaches that can be applied successfully to meet the unique needs of this age group. (#59 April, 2003)
  • Changing the Culture of Campus Drinking
    This Alcohol Alert presents key findings from the Task Force on College Drinking's landmark report, A Call to Action: Changing the Culture of Drinking at U.S. Colleges. It describes the factors that influence college drinking, approaches to help college administrators address the problem, and resources for more detailed information on this important topic (#58, October 2002).
  • Screening for Alcohol Problems: An Update
