The primary goal of this site is to improve the health of persons with developmental disabilities in California. To this end, the website is designed to assist physicians and other healthcare providers in caring for persons with developmental disabilities.
DDS Safety Net
This site is dedicated to the dissemination of information on the prevention and mitigation of risk factors for persons with developmental disabilities.
State Council on Developmental Disabilities

The Association of Regional Centers Agencies represents the 21 regional centers in California.

National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH)
The NCEH is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services. The Department of Developmental Services does not attempt to maintain a comprehensive list of developmental disability related Internet sites. DDS only lists websites of other governmental entities and non-profit organizations with whom DDS contracts. A number of the sites listed above maintain extensive links to developmental disability related sites.
