3-D animated fly-through

3-D animated fly-through of a rendering of very well-connected touching-vug burrow porosity from the upper part of the Biscayne aquifer in Miami-Dade County. Simulates a hypothetical route that groundwater would take flowing through this type of high-permeability limestone. Interior diameters of touching-vug burrow porosity ranges from about 1 to 2 cm. (Note: x, y, and z axes scaled in millimeters.) Input data was a STL file generated by the High Resolution X-ray CT Facility at the University of Texas-Austin.
