2008 Illinois State Championship Rube Goldberg Machine Contest for High Schools

To be held on a Satuday, March 22, 2008, at the Chicago Children's Museum on Navy Pier.
Six Illlinois high school teams will compete to be named the state's best at building the zaniest machine that takes 20 or more steps to assemble a hamburger consisting of no less than one precooked meat patty, two vegetables and two condiments, sandwiched between two bun halves.

10:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at Chicago Children's Museum, Navy Pier, Chicago.
Up to 12 Chicago-area high school teams will build the zaniest machines possible that take 20 or more steps to assemble a hamburger consisting of no less than one precooked meat patty, two vegetables and two condiments, sandwiched between two bun halves.
In cooperation with the Theta Tau Rube Goldberg Machine Contest, the Chicago Children's Museum, and Rube Goldberg, Inc.
