April 5, 2006, Alexandria, Va. – National Credit Union Administration Chairman JoAnn Johnson will testify on “H.R. 3206, Credit Union Charter Choice Act” and the issue of credit union charter conversions in general before the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit. The hearing is set for Thursday, May 11 at 10 a.m. in Room 2128 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

The National Credit Union Administration is the independent federal agency that regulates, charters and supervises federal credit unions.
