This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is FA5240-08-R-0021 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and can be viewed through internet access at the FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation is unrestricted and open to all Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310, size standard $7 Million Dollars. Discussions may or may not be held with offeror; therefore, the initial proposal of each offeror should be complete and accurate. The offeror shall provide as a response to this solicitation: 1) A lump sum proposal for all labor and materials included in this project (offerors must provide warranty information specific to all equipment as well as provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to provide this service) and 2) a completed clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Aug 2007) (the preferred method is for the offeror to complete this requirement on the ORCA link at the Business Partners Network website http://bpn.gov). The prospective contractor will be responsible for surveying the work site. A site visit will be scheduled upon request. All repair work must be compatible with the existing Otis operating system. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Alternative proposals may be considered and accepted.
