PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Summer Faculty Fellowships

The NASA Faculty Fellowship Project, or NFFP, hosts 10-week summer, on-site fellowships at the Johnson Space Center and the White Sands Training Facility. The fellowships are awarded to full-time engineering and science educators from U.S. colleges and universities.

The following are the goals of the SFF project:

--To further the professional knowledge of qualified engineering and science faculty members.
--To stimulate the exchange of ideas between fellows and NASA employees.
--To enrich and refresh the research and teaching activities at the fellows' institutions.
--To contribute to the research objectives of JSC.

Fellows attend lectures and tours. Participants are eligible to receive follow-on grants to continue their research after the 10-week period.

The stipend is $1,200 per week.

The duration of the fellowship is 10 weeks of full-time work, summers only.
