7/29/2008 Hubbell House Lecture Series Next Lecture September 20th 1:00-3:00pm
The Hubbell House Alliance is featuring a Lecture Series focused on agricultural issues in New Mexico to compliment the volunteer day every third Saturday of the month. Learn about issues such as agricultural policy, backyard compositing, Farm to School movement, and Revolution on the Range.
The Gutierrez-Hubbell House has been called the “South Valley’s Tremendous Treasure”. A Bernalillo County Open Space, this historical house and its surroundings were once a famous trading post, sheep ranch headquarters, post office, and home along the Camino Real.

Volunteers will get practical hands-on experience with organic and traditional farming/gardening practices.
