The Board of County Commissioner is considering a Tax Increment Development Districts Ordinance. If passed, the ordinance would establish procedures, guidelines and application procedures for future Tax Increment Development Districts with proceeds being used to finance and maintain public infrastructure.
The Tax Increment Development Districts Ordinance are partnerships between the private and public sector.
Amendments were raised by County Commissioners at the September 25th Administrative Meeting that may be introduced at the next Commission meeting. Public comment is being accepted until October 9, 2007.
