Methow Valley Irrigation District Project - East and West Diversion Screening
Okanogan County, Washington

  • PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

BPA proposes to fund the replacement of fish screens on the Methow Valley Irrigation District (MVID) East and West diversion canals. This is part of an ongoing MVID rehabilitation project. The proposed fish screen replacement would prevent injury and mortality of juvenile salmonids and increase anadromous and resident fish populations in the Twisp and Methow Rivers.
