ITC LAUNCHES NEW STAFF JOURNAL

The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC or Commission) has launched a new journal that will present staff-authored articles on matters related to international trade.

The new Journal of International Commerce and Economics will reside on the ITC's web site at http://www.usitc.gov/journal/index.htm. Articles will be posted on the site as they are released, and they also will be distributed by e-mail to journal subscribers. During the year, a compendium of articles will be bound and published in print.

In general, the articles published in the new Journal are the work of ITC international trade analysts and international economists. The views expressed in the Journal series are solely those of the individual authors and are not meant to represent the views of the U.S. International Trade Commission or any of its individual Commissioners.

The series will provide rigorous, but accessible, articles for readers interested in the broad range of developments in international trade. Its articles will rely primarily but not exclusively on ITC studies and research on pressing and emerging issues and strive to foster cross-disciplinary analysis.

To view or subscribe to the new Journal of International Commerce and Economics, please visit the ITC web site: http://www.usitc.gov/journal/index.htm.
