Abstract: Objectives: To increase knowledge about Title VI-Civil Rights Act of 1964 regarding cultural & linguistic minimum competence required, to raise awareness among health care providers about discrimination based on race, color, national origin, and maternal language spoken, facilitate the process that ensures all patients, equal access to all programs, activities, and services regardless of color, place of birth, or their limited English proficiency, and to eliminate long-standing health disparities, based on race ethnicity, place of birth, and/or limited English proficiency.
