We are pleased to announce the Standard Form (SF) 15, Application for 10-Point Veteran Preference, has been revised and is available for your use. The SF 15 is used to adjudicate individual's claims for veterans' preference in accordance with the Veterans' Preference Act of 1944. We revised this form to eliminate the social security number and simplify the information requested from applicants.
The latest version of the SF 15 is dated August 2008 and is available on the OPM website at www.opm.gov/forms/html/sf.asp. Agencies, however, must continue to accept the December 2004 edition of the SF 15. The General Services Administration has notified us that the SF 15 December 2004 edition is no longer printed and they do not stock this form.
