The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is pleased to issue the renamed Workforce Research and Analysis Series, 0140, series definition and the Workforce Development Series, 0142, classification standard. The word “manpower” has been removed from these two occupations and all other criteria remains unchanged. The series definition and the classification standard are now consistent with the Workforce Investment Act. Changes to the Handbook of Occupational Groups and Families and other documents will be made accordingly.
