Council Description
Membership on the Council includes local organizations that would be active in the event of a disaster. Includes American Red Cross, United Way, RSVP, Food for Lane County, ARES/RACES, School Districts, Lane County Public Health and others. Programs operating include VIPS, CERT, Neighborhood Watch and representatives from the County Medical Reserve Corps. The local CERT program has a website with information at http://www.cert-eugene.com Information can also be found at the City of Eugene website http://www.eugene-or.gov and go to the Emergency Management Program.
