As part of National Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 5-11, the Redlands Fire Department will hold a series of educational events culminating in an Open House on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the downtown Fire Station.

A call of a suspicious vehicle parked in an alley behind a pizza restaurant resulted in the arrest of three men and the recovery of two stolen handguns.

10/3/2008 - Armed robbers hit two fast food restaurants
Redlands Police are investigating an early-morning armed robbery and similar attempted robbery that took place hours apart at local fast food restaurants Friday morning. Investigators believe the holdups may be related to a series of similar crimes throughout the region.

10/2/2008 - Teen robbery suspects arrested when one answers stolen phone
Two teenagers were arrested Wednesday for robbery in connection with the theft of a cell phone when one of the boys answered a detective's call as investigators watched.
