			Mrs. Rinehart started her Federal service in 1983 at NIST as a clerk typist in the Personnel Division under the Employment Development Group. In 1984 she moved to the Office of the Comptrollers office and in 1985 advanced as an Accounting Technician. In 1985 Mrs. Rinehart accepted the group secretary position in the Center for Building Technology in the Building Environment Division. She received her Associates in Arts degree in 1986 in Business Administration. During her career, she advanced into the administrative support field through experience and became an Administrative Assistant in 1996. In 1997, Mrs. Rinehart was promoted to Administrative Officer for both the Structures Division and the Fire Science Division. Currently, she is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and financial policies and procedures for the Fire Research Division.
