The following information should be helpful to individuals who plan to take the Certified Permitting Professional Examination.
The exam will begin at 8 a.m. -sharp- and end at 5 p.m. Staff will begin escorting attendees to the exam area at 7:30 a.m.
The exam fee is $150.00. We recommend that you do not pay the fee before the day of the exam. However, if you do pre-pay your fee you must also bring the receipt with you to the exam.
The exam will be open-book and open-notes. You will need to bring your calculator. To help you successfully complete the exam, the following list of books, manuals, and materials are recommended. Please note that you will be tested on the most recent Governing Board adopted rules and publicly available implementation guidance/policy/procedures.
AQMD Rules & Regulations Volumes I, II & III (including Reg. XX - RECLAIM & Reg. XXX - Title V Permits - NEW – Questions will be asked covering these two programs.
