Grinnell Glacier taken from the Grinnell Glacier trail, Glacier National Park.

The 1910 photograph shows Grinnell Glacier as it was the year that this area became a national park and before it receded in to two ice masses. Notice the difference in the stream channels flowing from the glacier. Glacier National Park’s smallest glacier, Gem Glacier, appears in the upper left of both photos and does not appear to have changed significantly.
