Quality Management System

Divider

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a federation of 125 national bodies. It promotes standardization and facilitates international exchange of goods and services through the development of technical, scientific, and quality standards. ISO quality standards outline the requirements for quality management systems. Quality management systems standardize an organization's work into an organized and documented system. Quality management systems must support process optimization, quality improvement, cost reduction, development of effective goals, objectives and performance metrics, management of resources, and strategic planning. Stakeholders, shareholders, and management are assured through ongoing internal and third-party audits that an ISO registered system is managed, maintained, and improved. CPHST is actively seeking registration to the ISO quality standards.

  • Work Instructions: Written bodies of information providing direction for performing a specified task. These documents are not confined to any specific format.
  • Forms: When completed forms become records and will provide chronological, objective evidence that CPHST activities have been conducted according to quality procedures, technical procedures, work instructions, or protocols.
