e-Response Registration and Set up
- The AESDirect Administrator should access the e-Response registration and set-up function: See Below.
This function will require the AESDirect Account Administrator to input their:
- AESDirect Admin Code
- AESDirect Username
- AESDirect password
- Once validated by AESDirect the Administrator downloads, installs and registers the AESDirect VPN Communications Software. This will again require that they enter their AESDirect log-in information plus a description of the e-Response server being installed
- At this stage e-Response will be activated for the AESDirect Account. This means that:
- The e-Response option will be activated on the WWW Shipment Information Screen
- The e-Response option will be accepted from AESWebLink submitted shipments
- The client server (where the communication software is set-up) will be in receipt of responses for shipments (submitted to AESDirect from the WWW and AESWebLink interfaces), for which an e-Response is requested.
Register and Set up your AESDirect Account for e-Response
Notes:
Only an AESDirect Account Administrator may activate e-Response for their account.
Each AESDirect Account is only allowed to register and install one copy of the AESDirect VPN Communications Software for e-Response at any one time.
De-activating e-Response (or moving the download software to another server) will require a written request to AESDirect.
The AESDirect VPN Communications Software is designed to run on Windows2000, Windows XP, Windows NT Version 4.0. An Internet communications link is required. A static (not dial-up) connection is also strongly recommended.
