Getting to Know TMA

"...I hope you'll never take the honor of public service for granted. Some of us will serve in government for a season; others will spend an entire career here. But all of us should dedicate ourselves to great goals: We are not here to mark time but to make progress, to achieve results, and to leave a record of excellence."

President George W. Bush

TMA Solutions Support Career-Long Employee Learning and Performance Improvement

Image with description below.

While TMA performs projects for customers using two separate contract vehicles, one for customized training/learning solutions and for custom solutions, the products and services produced under each represent a single continuum or lifecycle of interventions that all play a distinct role in improving individual, team, or enterprise performance within Federal agencies. Because each agency's challenges and requirements are unique, the optimal solution to these challenges is comprised of some number of these interventions conducted in a specific order and proportion. As shown, these interventions include effective job and workforce design, development of comprehensive competency models, implementation of effective processes and policies, effective new employee entry procedures, effective initial and advanced training experiences, effective support on the job for employees, maintenance of a good quality of work life for employees, and the efficient capture and re-distribution of mission critical knowledge as employees leave or retire. Training is not the only tool available to Federal agencies to improve employee performance.
