Let Your Voice Be Heard on 51% Rule

The deadline to submit comments to the FAA regarding its proposed policy changes to interpretation and enforcement of the "51%" homebuilding rule is less than three weeks away, on September 30. This week, EAA President Tom Poberezny makes a direct appeal to you, EAA members, about the importance of making your voice heard on FAA’s proposed policy changes. The 51% Rule has served the aviation community well for more than 50 years, and EAA maintains the challenges FAA faces could be resolved by simply enforcing the current rule, not by adding complexity and burdens on aircraft builders.

Poberezny urges you to submit your comments to the FAA before next month’s deadline and make your voices heard. You can link to simple instructions on making your comments from this webpage.
