At Launch Pad 39B, the Space Shuttle Main Engine Flight Readiness Test (FRT) was completed last Friday and the Helium Signature Test over the weekend. During the FRT a failure occurred in the yaw actuator of Engine Number 2. The actuator will be replaced with no impact to the launch schedule. During this week the Raffaello Multi Purpose Logistics Module will be installed in the Orbiter and the Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) will take place with STS-108 crew participation.

Shuttle managers continue to assess the content, schedule and location of Discovery's structural inspection and modification period. Discovery's de-servicing operations are under way.
