Mustang Challenges and Makeovers in 2008
Midwest Mustang Challenge– Midwest Horse Fair, April 18-20, Madison WI - 50 Nevada Mustangs and trainers from across the country will compete at the largest equine expo in the Midwest. More than 40,000 visitors attend the event. Competition is April 18-19 with the adoption on April 20.
Western States Mustang Challenge – Western States Expo, June 6-8, Sacramento, CA - 25 Nevada Mustangs and trainers from across the country will compete at the largest equine expo in California. More than 50,000 visitors attend the event. Competition is June 6-7 with the adoption on June 8.
Wyoming Mustang Challenge – Wyoming State Fair, August 15-16, Douglas, WY - 25 Wyoming Mustangs and trainers from the region will compete at the Wyoming State Fair. More than 20,000 visitors attend this event. Competition is August 15 with the adoption August 16.

EXTREME MUSTANG MAKEOVER “The 200” – September 18-21, Fort Worth, Texas - 200 Nevada Mustangs and trainers from across the country will compete for more than $50,000 in prize money. In addition to the Makeover, there will be ’STANG STAGE - a talent show restricted to the participating trainers.
The Mustang Heritage Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) public, charitable, nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating successful adoptions for America’s excess mustangs and burros. Founded in 2001, its mission is to help promote the Bureau of Land Management’s National Wild Horse and Burro Program and increase the number of successful adoptions. www.mustangheritagefoundation.org
