If you are a Non-U.S. Citizen, you must complete a Guest Registration Form in addition to the Workshop Registration. Due to a required review process, all Non-U.S. Citizens must be registered and approved in the BNL Guest Information System (GIS) before they will be allowed access to the site. The link to GIS will be provided to you after you have registered for this event. Please complete this as soon as possible to ensure sufficient time for complete approval.


Scope & Purpose:
US ATLAS will have a Tier 2 and Tier 3 workshop at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) from September 22 to 23, 2008. The workshop will focus on the deployment and operational issues at the US ATLAS Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 computing facilities:

  • Sep 22: Final adjustments for data analysis, Tier-2 presentations and discussions.
  • Sep 23: Tier-3 design and workflow integration, and facility planning.

The workshop will be held at BNL's Berkner Hall (conference room B. Institutes considering setting up a Tier 3 site are encouraged to attend.
