Fryzel Welcomes Community
Development Leader to NCUA

August 26, 2008, Alexandria, Va. – National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Chairman Michael E. Fryzel met today with National Federation of Community Development President Clifford N. Rosenthal today at the NCUA Central office in Alexandria, VA.
“The National Federation of Community Development has a longstanding tradition of promoting and enhancing credit union outreach to low and moderate-income communities.  I am particularly pleased to begin a dialogue with Mr. Rosenthal as both NCUA and the credit union industry continue to explore ways to assist credit unions in this essential effort, and look forward to ongoing discussions with a broad cross-section of the credit union industry,” noted Chairman Fryzel.
