To Our Valued DITCO Customers:

As the Director of DISA's Procurement Directorate, I am pleased to present the 2008 DISA CONTRACTS GUIDE. The guide has been updated to provide you with the most current list of contracts available for the Defense Information Technology Organization (DITCO).

In the rapidly changing world of technology, we continue to find new and innovative contracting solutions for our customers. The 2008 DISA Contracts Guide provides many diverse contracts for telecommunications and information technology services, systems, equipment and support that are available to you. Many are performance-based, flexible and easy to use. Our DITCO contact specialist can issue task orders/delivery orders for you or, in some cases, your own contacting specialist can issue task/delivery orders. Just look for "decentralized ordering" to located the contracts that allow you to place and administer your own orders. Either way, you will receive the services you require quickly and efficiently and receive the best value solution.

This year the conference theme is "Imagine 1 Force - Connected." Through out DITCO contacts, we have been striving to achieve this goal. Our contacts enable interoperability and joint use systems for our joint warfighting forces.

We anticipate the award of follow-on and new contract vehicles such as Encore II in the near future. When these contracts are awarded, we will post the new contract information in the 2008 DISA CONTRACTS GUIDE on our website, www.disa.mil. We also recommend that you visit our web site at http://www.ditco.disa.mil/hq/contracts/index.asp for additional information on all of our available contracts.

This year we successfully opened our newest office in Japan. We have offices to support you at the National Capital Region, Scott Air Force Base, IL, Ford Island, HI, Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK, Sembach, Germany, and Behrain. One of our primary goals is to support our world-wide customers.

We continue to provide our support for the low fee of 1.25%. The fee reduction has resulted in a 38% savings for our customers. This results in funds that can be issued to provide additional support to the warfighter to meet their mission.

As DISA moves into a new net-centric environment, our contracts will continue to transform to meet the ever-changing world of communications and information technology. Please contact us for solutions to all of your telecommunications and information technology requirements. We look forward to helping you expeditiously meet your mission needs.
