The smallest state in the U.S., Rhode Island consumes the least energy per person of any state, yet pays some of the highest energy prices.  Rhode Island has established a pilot program with the state of Massachusetts to test the costs and benefits of using a renewable biodiesel for home heating.  This blended fuel would offer consumers the option of a cleaner fuel source for their homes.
