New Hampshire is home to the Seabrook nuclear power plant, which contains the largest nuclear reactor in New England.  Today, nuclear power and renewable energy together account for the vast majority of New Hampshire’s electricity production.  Plans are also underway for the “Northern Wood Power Project” which would use wood waste to provide the same power as the coal plant it will be replacing while producing 380,000 fewer tons of emissions per year.
