4.1 Oil Spills and Hazardous Substance Releases. In accordance with 296 DM 2.3A, the Director, Minerals Management Service, is delegated the authority to comply with requests for response assistance from On-Scene Coordinators and, when the Regional Response Team is activated, the designated representatives of the Office of Environmental Affairs. This authority may be redelegated.
