BAAQMD meteorological data are available for downloading at these sites (a new window will be created when you click on the station of interest). The new browser window will list the site information and files available for downloading. When you click on one of the underlined files to download, you will be asked where to store the file and what to name it. Save it to a temporary subdirectory on your own hard drive. The file is a "zipped" file and can be uncompressed using a utility like pkunzip or winzip. BAAQMD Meteorological Data Formats 
Data files contain meteorological data for a specified period of time from the
Meteorological Tower Network operated by the Bay Area Air Quality Management
District, participants of the Ground Level Monitoring (GLM) program, or other
non-District operated sites.  Formats for normal and model-ready data are
provided. Monitoring site characteristics are given.

These data have been reviewed and edited to meet EPA and District standards. 
It is recommended that use of these data for regulatory modeling applications
 be discussed with District staff before submission to the District.
