diamond-shaped bullet SunPower Corporation completes $300 million deal with PowerLite on their highest efficiency PV modules.
While the ATP project was aimed at development of a flat panel like microconcentrator PV modules, ATP supported development of processing that reduced recombination losses in the SunPower technology leading to higher efficiencies.  For more information, see ATP Project Brief. (December 2005)

Athena Group, a provider of high-performance, low-power signal processing and security products, recently announced that, as part of its efforts in the development of PowerFlow signal processing technology, prototype development is commencing which would incorporate all of the fundamental technologies required to realize the new signal processing paradigm.  For more information, see ATP Project Brief. diamond-shaped bullet Sangamo announcs a deal with Dow AgroSciences for Zinc Finger Nuclease gene targeting, a technology developed under a current ATP co-funded project.
This agreement provides Dow AgroSciences with access to Sangamo's proprietary zinc finger DNA-binding protein (ZFP) technology for use in plants and plant cell cultures to develop products in areas including, on an exclusive basis, plant agriculture and industrial products, and, on a non-exclusive basis, animal health and biopharmaceutical products produced in plants.
