The Wyoming Health Council (WYHC) mission is to ensure access to comprehensive, high-quality voluntary family planning and other healthcare services throughout Wyoming. WYHC sub-contracts with the local community health organizations that operate clinics and provide services. These agencies receive funding from several federal agencies, as well as patient fees, and funds provided by city-county government, private foundations and other organizations.
Key WYHC services and programs are:
- Migrant Health Program in the Big Horn Basin area.
- Breast and cervical cancer screening;
- STD screening and treatment services;
- School and community health education programs.
