TRAINING
The NETWARS PMO develops, presents, and facilitates annually scheduled NETWARS training events. New users will gain an understanding of how to effectively conduct communications studies, execute rapid contingency planning, and perform detailed network analyses. NETWARS training goals are to provide professional, relevant training to users worldwide, around-the-clock available educational portal access, and community feedback facilitation.
The NETWARS PMO has provided training to multiple Combatant Command Headquarters, Major Subordinate Commands, and Operational Units within the Department of Defense. Additionally, NETWARS training has been provided to DoD support organizations specializing in Modeling and Simulation.
The NETWARS PMO provides multiple training sessions per year in the Washington, DC metro area. The NETWARS PMO also provides on-site training for a fee to Combatant Command, Service, and Agency locations worldwide upon request.
NETWARS ANALYST COURSE
The NETWARS Analyst course is intended to provide military communication planners and analyst with hands on training on the NETWARS software. Topics includes: Installation and licensing, a detailed view of the NETWARS editors and associated workflows, construction of moderate size networks, network performance prediction via analytical and discrete event simulation techniques, equipment failure analysis, importing device configuration files and advanced topics such as MANET, Link-16.
