The U.S. Centennial Of Flight Commission is charged by the Congress
of the United States with playing a leading role in coordinating
and publicizing activities celebrating the achievements of Wilbur
and Orville Wright, which inaugurated the first century of powered
flight. The Commission has six members that not only bring their
own dedication to the public appreciation of the legacy and promise
of aviation, but also the enthusiasm of their member institutions.
