Metro SR-520 Schedule Information

King County Metro Transit and Sound Transit are sponsoring a demonstration project that allows bicyclists and other transit customers to ride free across the SR-520 Evergreen Point Bridge on out-of-service Metro and Sound Transit buses.

Effective May 31 thru Sept 19, 2008

Weekdays, during peak hours, the fare between Montlake and Evergreen Point is a two-zone fare. The City of Seattle is one zone and all other areas outside the city, but within King County, are a second zone. Any time you cross the Seattle city limits, you have passed from a one-zone fare to a two-zone fare. On the weekends a one-zone fare is collected at all times.

Eastbound Service - Montlake Station

In addition to the regular transit service, cyclists may transport bicycles across the SR-520 bridge on any eastbound Metro bus signed "East Base" or ‘"Bell Base" Eastbound coaches pick up at the Montlake Flyer Stop and drop off, by request, at:

  • Evergreen Point
  • Yarrow Point
  • East Base or Bellevue Base (when travelling to base - 124th Ave NE & NE 20th St in Bellevue)
  • NE 40th St/NE 51st St on-ramp zones (when scheduled to operate east of these zones)

Westbound Service - Evergreen Point

All coaches traveling westbound will pick up at:

  • NE 51st St/NE 40th St on-ramp zones
  • Zone at East Base or Bellevue Base (when leaving the base - 124th Ave NE & NE 20th St in Bellevue)
  • Yarrow Point
  • Evergreen Point

For drop off at either of the following requested stops:

  • Montlake Blvd NE/Shelby
  • Montlake Flyer Stop
