Public Debt Begins 10th Annual Savings Bonds Student Poster Contest: Winners Will Receive Close to $100,000 in U.S. Savings Bonds

Today the U.S. Treasury's Bureau of the Public Debt announced the Tenth Annual U.S. Savings Bonds Poster Contest where students in grades 4 through 6 can enter their artwork to win savings bonds awards. The contest is designed to educate children on the need to save and introduce them to U.S. Savings Bonds. Winners will be selected from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The 52 first-place winners will each win $1,000 in U.S. Savings Bonds and be placed into the national competition. The three national winners will be honored in Washington, D.C., and presented with thousands more in U.S. Savings Bonds.
