Our Information Specialists received a phone inquiry for an assistant researcher at a health care center who had a last minute project about health practices and culture in Cambodia, with the purpose of improving the cultural competency of her staff.

I have a compiled three lists to assist you with your last minute project in understanding Cambodian health and culture.      The National Institute of Statistics of Ministry of Planning and the National Institute of Public Health of Ministry of Health released the preliminary finding of the 2005 Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey (CDHS) which show significant improvements in child survival, total fertility and maternal and child health in the past five years.
