Current e-Cards address timely topics, such as staying healthy in college and assembling a first aid kit during National Preparedness Month. Many of the e-Cards include a link to a CDC Web page that expands on the health and safety message and offers additional information and resources.

 Future Health-e-Cards

In the near future, you’ll find Health-e-Cards for flu prevention, healthy pregnancies, infant health, healthy homes, weight management, and more. We also plan to develop several cards for holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Valentines Day, and upcoming events like the New Year and World AIDS Day. Many of the new e-Cards will be available in English and in Spanish.

Information about Health-e-Cards

To send a CDC Health-e-Card, you must provide both your name and email address and the recipient’s name and email address. Please note that after the card is sent electronically, the names and email addresses are discarded.

CDC does not disclose, give, sell, or transfer any information about CDC web site visitors unless required for law enforcement or otherwise required by law. Please see the CDC Privacy Policy for more information.

When a Web visitor sends a CDC Health-e-Card, the greeting is electronically created and a link is emailed to the recipient. This link will always begin with the Web address http://www2a.cdc.gov/. There is no file attachment, so the email message is small. CDC does not ask for or collect personally identifiable information except for names and email addresses which are discarded when the e-Card is sent. There is no cost to send Health-e-Cards, and you may send as many cards as you would like.
