    The Coast Guard Personnel Command supports mission execution by execution by expertly managing our Service's military workforce. We Build the Coast Guard's professional and leadership capabilities though the military assignment, promotion, advancement, and career management processes.

    Optimally balance Service needs, unit requirements, and member desires. Apply the highest standards to maintain the integrity of our processes. Engaged with stakeholders... trusted... agile.

    To Sustain and improve Coast Guard mission execution, we shall:

Anticipate and respond to the effects of a dynamically changing Service on the military workforce.

Provide the best possible customer service.

Make decisions that are thorough, fair, and impartial, while grounded on Service need and established policy.

 Always safeguard the privacy of members' personal information.

To the degree confidentiality allows, be open and forthcoming with internal processes and decisions.

Execute responsible stewardship of resources entrusted to us.
