Subj: eGrants Submission of Commission FSRs
As you all know, FSRs for Administrative, Disability, and some PDAT grants are due on January 31. Most PDAT grant FSRs are not due until March 31, 2008 -- they are Final FSRs due for PDAT grants that expired 12/31/07. Many of you have inquired if this deadline will be extended given the recent challenges with the Corporation’s web-based systems. It is very important that we receive your Administrative and Disability grant FSRs by January 31 in order to identify any supplemental funds that might be available for states that are eligible to receive them. With one-year funding, we have a limited window for re-allocating funds and, as a result, cannot extend the deadline.
We expect eGrants to be stabilized and available for grantee use by COB today, January 28. Therefore, we anticipate that submissions of your FSRs due January 31, 2008 should go smoothly. However, if you are still experiencing difficulties and are unable to submit your report by noon in eGrants on Thursday January 31, please submit a hard copy to your grants officer by email or fax. A blank FSR can be found at http://www.nationalservice.gov/forms/cncs_fsr_sf269.pdf and the OGM fax number is 202-606-3485. Also, if you can’t use eGrants and you need assistance in determining your total federal funds available or previously reported amounts, please contact your grants officer for this information.
We will update you if we experience any additional system-wide eGrants problems. If you have any questions about the submission, please contact your grants officer. Thank you for your patience.
