About Occupational Medicine
The goal of NASA¹s Occupational Medicine Programs is to ensure the early identification of occupational illnesses and the prompt care of occupational injuries, allowing early return to work and full functional recovery. As a Preventive Medicine subspecialty Occupational Medicine does focus on preventing adverse health events and strives to promote the health and wellness of every NASA employee. A healthier workforce is more productive and better able to meet the mission and vision goals for NASA as we look to an exciting future.
