In 2002, AmeriCorps*VISTA members began lending a hand in the business arena through a new volunteer model called Entrepreneur Corps. With proven business skills and experience, these AmeriCorps VISTA members handled everything from financial modeling and developing marketing plans to holding information sessions and planning fundraisers. They helped to bring low-income Americans into the economic mainstream through a variety of initiatives, including microlending, financial literacy education, and home ownership programs. <P>.</P>
